Here goes my very first blog. Welcome to diaries gone tech!
Well I have to stop and chart my thoughts. This book is why I titled my blog, Second Breath.
I'm a transplant recipient and need of another kidney. The first one lasted for 11 years donated by a close relative.
This book is a wonderful depiction on everyone involved regardless of the attention and needs not recieved by all family members. The only account is the one who is afflicted with the disease does not give her point of view. I suppose if she did the book would be longer.
This book is about the caregivers and the family members who are victims of disease that robs them of an unbalance love and never ending battle against envictable death.
I haven't finished the book yet but have come to the climax. Will the family find hope and fill the whole in the soul of their son, will the daughter be satisfied to save her own soul and not lose a sister nor her mother's love? Will the lawyer and GAL fall back in love?
This is a page turner. I had to stop and catch my breath. It made me think about the characters in my life who were and still are involved in my life. There are people who depend me as mother, sister, friend, and daughter. If I continue the battle against death how many people will win my love or suffer because I chose to fight to live. How many will meet the challenge to save a life, MINE.
